What Do These Panels Measure?
Lipid Panel (Cholesterol Test)
Measures key blood fats to assess your cardiovascular risk:
- Total cholesterol
- LDL (“bad” cholesterol)
- HDL (“good” cholesterol)
- Triglycerides
Hemoglobin A1C (HbA1c)
Reflects your average blood sugar over the past 2-3 months. Used to diagnose or monitor pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and treatment effectiveness.
Thyroid Panel
Evaluates how well your thyroid gland is working. Often includes:
- TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone)
- Free T4 and/or Free T3
- Thyroid antibodies (when autoimmune conditions are suspected)
