Each case is carefully evaluated to ensure safe removal and minimize the risk of infection or injury to surrounding tissues.
Examination & Imaging (if needed)
We’ll assess the location, depth, and type of object. In certain cases, we may use digital X-ray to detect hidden materials like glass or metal.
Local Anesthesia
When necessary, we numb the area for a more comfortable removal experience.
Sterile Removal Procedure
Using precise instruments, we carefully extract the object without damaging surrounding skin. If the area is inflamed or infected, we’ll take additional steps to treat it.
Cleaning & Dressing
The wound is cleaned, disinfected, and dressed to promote healing and prevent infection.
Antibiotics & Tetanus
Update If the wound is high-risk or dirty, we may prescribe antibiotics or give a tetanus booster on-site.
