I’m so happy to have an urgent care close to home. Place is nice and clean. Dr. Luke is warm and kind. He took his time asked a lot of questions. I was really feeling very sick. Turns out I have covid AND strep throat. Thank you Dr. Luke and team!
What’s Causing Your Sore Throat?
A sore throat can be caused by a number of viral or bacterial infections, as well as environmental or allergic triggers. Getting an accurate diagnosis is key–especially since only bacterial infections like strep require antibiotics. Our medical team is trained to quickly assess, test, and treat the underlying cause so you can feel better fast.
We commonly evaluate and treat:
- Viral sore throats caused by colds, flu, or post-nasal drip
- Strep throat (Group A Streptococcus)
- Tonsillitis, either bacterial or viral
- Mononucleosis (mono)
- Throat irritation from acid reflux or allergies

- Swollen glands in the neck
- Ear pain, fatigue, or headache

- Non-prescription treatments for pain, inflammation, and fever
- Steroids for severe swelling or pain
